The 2012 Dodge Challenger is an American classic and has three different engine options. The base engine which is in the SXT model has a 3.6L pentasar V6 that produces 305 HP. The challenger R/T has a 5.7L V8 that produces 372 with the option of the 5 speed automatic transmission or the 6 speed manual. The Challenger SRT8 392 is powered by a 6.4L Hemi V8 that produces 470 HP. The SRT8 is a faithful rendition of the Dodge Challenger from the 1970’s. The SXT and R/t come standard with 18 inch wheels, while the R/T classic gets heritage 20 inch wheels. The SRT8 gets its own special 20 inch SRT wheels. The R/T gets classic stripes and the SRT8 gets its own special features and badging.
